Permit-free promotional spaces in the nine largest SBB stations.
At the stations Basel SBB, Bern, Geneva Cornavin, Lausanne, Lucerne, St. Gallen, Winterthur, Zürich HB and Zug, small areas have been designated and specifically marked for conceptual use. No permit is required to use these areas.
Please observe the following usage provisions as well as the station ordinance.
- The areas are available for conceptual use only. Distribution activities and signatures collection campaigns are permitted in particular, but not campaigns with stands
- Small wheeled containers (e.g. trolleys) may be used to carry items for distribution. These trolleys may carry information signs.
- The maximum stay per use is 20 minutes. After this time, the space must be vacated. Spaces that are already occupied must be respected.
- A maximum of two people may be in the area at any one time.
- It is not permitted to actively stop or stand in the way of passers-by, play music or give speeches.
The requirement to obtain a permit to use the station area remains unchanged. This means that a permit must still be obtained for conceptual promotions that are not held in the permit-free promotional spaces.
